Psychology Student Engagement Blog – Baker College
Created and maintained a blog site to extend classroom learning and foster student engagement outside of class. The blog provided a platform for students to connect with course content, exchange perspectives, and engage in discussions that reinforced key psychological concepts. It also served as a conversation starter for upcoming classes, encouraging active participation and reflection.
Benefits & Outcomes: Strengthened students’ communication, critical thinking, and writing skills while promoting peer-to-peer learning and collaboration. Helped students demonstrate knowledge of the material in a practical, applied format, deepened engagement with course content, and cultivated a sense of academic community beyond the classroom.
